Our mission stands  as a beacon, carrier, and witness of the message of Christ to all people through divine worship, preaching, teaching, and living of the Orthodox Christian Faith. We  stands firm in its adherence to the Holy Tradition of the Orthodox Church, teaching and preaching the Holy Gospel of Our God and Lord Jesus Christ, following in the teachings and traditions of the Holy Apostles, Fathers, and Ecumenical Councils.

The goal and mission of the CCOCF is to promote the expansion of the Christian faith and Eastern Orthodox doctrine, to be involved in  charitable work, and the defence of Orthodox Christian traditions, to play a crucial role in preserving and defending the Orthodox Christian faith and traditions, to engage in charitable work and humanitarian efforts, providing support to those in need, to be engaged with Orthodox theological studies and discussions.

One of the main purpose of CCOCF is to produce innovative, high-quality research and insights into the rich tapestry and complex dynamics of Orthodox Christian cultures and societies, past and present. This is achieved through a range of research projects, scholarly collaborations, conferences, seminars, workshops, and academic publications.

Our aim is to become a leading international hub for the study of Orthodox Christianity from a social scientific perspective. Its research themes include, but are not limited to, Orthodox Christian theological anthropology, practices, rituals, and traditions; Orthodox Christian communities and networks; Orthodox Christian identities, beliefs, and values; the social, cultural, and political implications of Orthodox Christianity in contemporary societies, both within and outside of Orthodox-majority countries; Orthodox Christian art, literature, and media; and Orthodox Christian encounters with other religions and cultures.

Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, to teach and spread the Orthodox Christian faith, to energize, cultivate, and guide the life of the Church according to the Orthodox Christian faith and tradition and to build bridges among all Christians.

Our task and responsibility is to preserve unadulterated the Sacred Tradition of the Holy Fathers of the Orthodox Church; to continue the mission of the One, Holy Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the nations to whom our service has been entrusted; to endeavour at every hour to spread the message of salvation granted to the Holy Apostles as Our Lord commands, to do, as the Gospel states: “to be a light to the revelation of the Gentiles, and the glory of Thy people Israel” (Luke 2:32).

We are committed to proclaim the Gospel to those who have not heard it, to do charity work to those who are in need regardless of: background, age, disability, gender, race, religion belief and to foster according to the Gospel values; peace, justice and the integrity of the creation worldwide, to defend the human rights of every individual and to work for unity between the Orthodox and other Christians. We are also active in humanitarian aid work, food banks and homeless projects.

The CCOCF considers that the faithful sanctified through divine worship, especially the Holy Eucharist and other Sacraments, building the spiritual and ethical life of the faithful in accordance with the Holy Scriptures, Sacred Tradition, the Doctrines and Canons of the Ecumenical and local Councils, the canons of the Holy Apostles, the Fathers of the Church and of all other Councils recognized by the Orthodox Church.

We invite all to be a part of the movement that began with Christ’s last command to His disciples to “make disciples of all nations”. For two thousand years, this has been the mission of the Orthodox Church. This work continues with all of us! We are dedicated to Orthodox evangelism. Our goal is to bring together Orthodox faithful into a unified and coordinated efforts; to spread the truth of Orthodoxy in our modern time, in other words; Orthodox Christianity in the 21st Century.
